Based in Chevannes, David Duband took over the vineyards from his family who sold the wines to negotiants in the past. The name got more attentions from 2005 that David’s friend and business partner, Francois Feuillet bought vineyards from Jacky Truchot who was going to retire. Having worked in his father’s vineyard since 1991, Denis Mortet set up his domaine under his own name and quickly made a name for himself as he was a perfectionist who put a lot of care and effort from vines to wines. The wines he produced were some of the most charming and elegant styles in Gevrey-Chambertin.
