Based in Chevannes, David Duband took over the vineyards from his family who sold the wines to negotiants in the past. The name got more attentions from 2005 that David’s friend and business partner, Francois Feuillet bought vineyards from Jacky Truchot who was going to retire. The ideal plots such as Clos de la Roche, Charmes Chambertin and Chambolle Musigny were then passed to this capable man.

With big efforts from vineyard to wine, styles have been massively changed from 2008, that David Duband started to harvest by pedicelles practice. It provided the wines with ultimate purity, floral and aromatic with silkiness. The domaine also awarded with 3 stars by La Revue du Vin de France with lots of demands from Michelin star restaurants throughout Europe.
