What’s the difference between stock items and broking items?
Stock items are stored in Hong Kong and readily available for delivery upon payment. Some items may be arriving shortly and the ETA has been remarked on the individual wines.
Broking items are stored either abroad at the Domaines or with one of the reputable suppliers in Europe we partner with and shipped in temperature-controlled conditions from the source to Hong Kong.
How do I place an order?
For stock items, you can make the purchase directly online; or you may contact us directly by phoneWhatsapp, email or WeChat to place your order.
For broking items, you will need to send us the product code and quantity of the wines you wish to order either via the online form at the top of the broking items page or via email email@example.com and feel free to call us up at +852 3957 1080 or +852 6112 1779.
How long does it take for the wines to be delivered?
For stock items they are available to be delivered once payment has been completed and confirmed.
For broking items, the usual lead time will be around 3-6 weeks unless otherwise specified.
Do you run wine tasting events?
We are always eager to share our knowledge and what we have learnt from wine masters and genius winemakers! We can arrange bespoke fun and educational wine tasting events to suit your corporate or leisure requirements, either at your designated venue or our partnership restaurants. Can I sell my wines to or through Burgundy Cave?
Provenance and storage conditions are two vital elements we value at Burgundy Cave. We only buy wines from domaines and reputable suppliers who have been working with us in long term. We will only sell wines if you can provide proof that they were purchased and acquired upon the release from the domaine and stored in professional storage facilities.
When do I need to pay?
For stock items, full payment is required before goods will be arranged for delivery. Payment must be made immediately (if purchased directly via our online store) or within 3 days of invoice date (if order is placed offline either by phone or email).
For broking items, full payment is required within 7 days from invoice date to confirm your order.
How do I pay?
All products are sold and to be paid in Hong Kong Dollars.
For Stock items, we accept payment by Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, AmericanExpress, UnionPay) via PayPal as well as bank transfer and cheque/cash deposit.
For Broking Items, we only accept bank transfer or cheque/cash deposit. If you wish to pay via PayPal, there will be a surcharge of 2% for Local credit card payment and 3% for Overseas credit card payment. For first-time customers, only bank transfer and cheque/cash deposit are accepted.
Our Hang Seng Bank account number is: 789-280195-001 (Bank account name: "Burgundy Cave Limited"). Please be reminded to keep the transfer slip for record.
If you opt to make cheque deposit to our bank account but please allow a processing leadtime of 3 working days. Delivery will only be arranged after the cheque is cleared by the bank. A reminder to please keep the deposit slip for all bank transactions.

Where do you ship?
We currently only ship locally within Hong Kong, but other destinations may be possible but discussed on a case by case basis. Please contact us and tell us your location to make an assessment on the feasibility of shipment.
If you are visiting Hong Kong for travel or business, we can deliver to the concierge of the hotel you are staying at.
Do I need to pay for delivery?
We offer free-of-charge local delivery for purchases over HKD3,000 or 6 bottles per order (delivery to a single address only and excludes delivery to Outlying Islands). For orders under HKD3,000 or 6 bottles, a standard delivery charge of HKD80 per address shall apply. Delivery to other destinations outside Hong Kong, such as Macau, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan is negotiable and quote is provided upon request.
How are the wines delivered?
We deliver using temperature-controlled vehicles or via SF Express Refrigerated Door-to-Door Delivery services.
