The Gros family has been making excellent wine in Burgundy since the early 1800s when Alphonse Gros married Madame Latour and acquired their first parcels of vines in Vosne-Romanee. The Domaine was divided as it was passed down from generation to generation thus making the Domaine names as complicated as it gets for a family with such a long history in the region.
