Domaine Michel Caillot was established in the 1960s by Roger Caillot, Michel’s father. Michel, the nephew of Pierre Morey (the ex-winemaker at Domaine Leflaive), started working in the family Domaine in the 1980s and then took full charge from 1995. The son-in-law of Etienne Sauzet, Gérard Boudot, started managing the 12-hectare Domaine since 1975 and now manages it together with his daughter Emilie and her husband Benoit Riffault.
