The Lacourte-Godbillon brand was established in 1968 but had a long history growing crops and selling them to big and famous Champagne houses. A grower Champagne house, they believe that the best champagne can be only made from top quality work in the vineyard. They own 20.5 acres of vineyards planted 85% to Pinot Noir and 15% to Chardonnay which are all situated in Ecueil except for 1.2 acres that are in the neighbouring village of Les Mesneux.
