Ghislaine Barthod has a long history dating back to the 1920s when Ghislaine's father, Gaston Barthod married Marcel Noellat's daughter. Gaston, whose family originated in the Jura, took over the domaine in the 1950s, and in the 1980s, his daughter, Ghislaine started to shadow his work.
