Word has it that the Bonneau du Martray has history dating back to ancient times, but what is known is that the family descends directly from Chancellor Nicolas Rolin who founded the famous Hospices de Beaune in 1443. The Domaine only produces two wines from their Grand Cru vineyard holdings from Corton-Charlemagne and Corton.
