Domaine Kuheiji was established by Kuheiji in 2016 from Banjo Sake Brewery, which has been producing Japanese Sake since 1647. Domaine Michel Caillot was established in the 1960s by Roger Caillot, Michel’s father. Michel, the nephew of Pierre Morey (the ex-winemaker at Domaine Leflaive), started working in the family Domaine in the 1980s and then took full charge from 1995.
