An up-and-rising domaine in Meursault, Bernard-Bonin has been managed by a lovely couple Nicolas Benard and Veronique Bonin since 1998. They own a 7-hectare domaine in which they have carefully crafted their wines to a very high standard, working exclusively with Chardonnay mainly in Meursault with a few small plots in Puligny-Montrachet. Founded in 1920, Domaine Coche-Dury has a profound status in Meursault, probably equivalent to that of Henri Jayer's in Vosne-Romanee, and was even said to be "one of the greatest winemakers on planet earth" by wine critic Robert Parker, and called "King of Meursault" by Winehog's Steen Öhman.
