Domaine Leflaive has been an eminent winemaker which continuously produces astounding Chardonnay from Puligny-Montrachet for many decades. White Burgundy from Domaine Leflaive stands out of being the best in the world of wines. Madame Anne-Claude Leflaive built a strong reputation for the label under her careful and special attention in the vineyard. She made some of the most fruit-forward and terroir-expressive wines that are worthy to be added to every wine collector's cellar after she took over from her father in 1994. Sadly Anne-Claude passed away in 2015. However, Brice de La Morandiere's, Anne-Claude's nephew and Joseph Leflaive, the founder,’s great grandson, took over and has been carrying on with the same family philosophy of respect for the great ''terroirs’’ since. Humility towards the forces of nature and rigorous relentlessly help in pursuit of excellence in wine making.
