With its origin dating back to 1928 when the Mercier family established itself in Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine de Chezeaux owns nearly 60% of Griotte-Chambertin - the largest owner - and also Clos St-Denis, Chambertin as well as some parcels of Gevrey Premier Cru; however, the Domaine does not make any wines but instead the holdings are all farmed and produced by others, which is called a "en metayage" and those who "farm" the land are called the "metayers". Anne Gros Selection 2004-2019 incl. Richebourg, Chambolle-Musigny Combe d'Orveau and More!
The Gros family has been making excellent wine in Burgundy since the early 1800s when Alphonse Gros married Madame Latour and acquired their first parcels of vines in Vosne-Romanee. The Domaine was divided as it was passed down from generation to generation thus making the Domaine names as complicated as it gets for a family with such a long history in the region. To make it simple, there are essentially four separate Gros Domaines, all related to each other: Gros Frère et Sœur, Anne Gros, Anne-Francoise Gros (aka A.F. Gros) and Michel Gros. While they come from the same family,...
Our latest Les Amoureuses Selection fm Pousse d'Or, Joseph Drouhin and Robert Groffier!
A romantically named terroir - "Les Amoureuses” - is one of the most popular and respected Premier Crus within Chambolle-Musigny, many may even consider it a Grand Cru. Lying just below Le Musigny Grand Cru, wines from Les Amoureuses share many similar characteristics with Le Musigny – perfumed, feminine with silky tannins and intense aroma jumping out of the glass. Some of the very top producers of Amoureuses such as Georges Roumier, JF Mugnier as well as Comte de Vogue easily demand a price of up to HK$16,000 per bottle, but there are still several high quality producers that are much more...

Immediately Available! Charles Noellat Pommard 1er Cru 1999 As Low As HK$450 Per Bottle
The Noellat family has a very long history in Vosne-Romanee in which the two brothers, Charles and Ernest, were the main players in the family in the early twentieth century. Charles Noellat’s daughter Odile Noellat married Alain Hudelot later to form Hudelot-Noellat. Charles Noellat died in 1930s and because the domaine owns a few beautiful vineyards such as Richebourg and Romanee-St-Vivant, it attracted Madame Lalou Bize-Leroy to sell one-third of interest of Domaine Leroy to Japan's Takashimaya in order to secure funds to purchase Domaine Charles Noellat in 1988 - a move that has led to the global success of...
