Whilst wines in Givry are a bit less known than other villages, there are producers that make quality wines, one of which is that of Domaine du Cellier aux Moines. This domaine is one of the oldest domaines in Burgundy in which it had been the wine-producing property of Abbey of La Ferte for nearly seven centuries before it was sold to Philippe and Catherine Pascal in 2004.

The Clos du Cellier aux Moines is a Premier Cru Classé in Givry which today covers 13 hectares. The Domaine du Cellier aux Moines owns 5 hectares (12 acres) of perfectly oriented Premier Cru planted around the original Cellier; and just above the Clos du Cellier, it owns another small Clos of 27 ares (two thirds of an acre) surrounded by thick walls, which had been left fallow since the phylloxera crisis but was replanted in 2010 with the name "Clos Pascal". With a long history in Burgundy, the Domaine has gone through centuries of evolution in vine-growing and wine-making techniques and with changed approach since Philippe and Catherine Pascal took over, their old mature vintages are truly gems to get a taste of this Domaine's history.
