Domaine Georges Roumier is one of the top names in Chambolle-Musigny and also produces some of the most valuable wines in the world. The Domaine was established back in 1924 by Georges Roumier, which was then passed down to his son, Jean-Marie, and now the Domaine is managed by his grandson, Christophe. Their wines stand out among all other domaines in Chambolle-Musigny because of the meticulous care given to the vines and their distinctive domaine style. Their wines are pure, seductive and fruit-forward across their portfolio, with no hard-edges. 

There is one cuvee which is made outside the Chambolle-Musigny appellation which is the Morey-Saint-Denis Clos de la Bussière 1er Cru, this Premier Cru offering comes from a monopole vineyard, meaning it is exclusively owned and controlled by the Roumier family.The Clos de la Bussière vineyard was acquired by the Roumier estate in 1953, adding 2.5 hectares of prime Morey-Saint-Denis terroir to their holdings. It had been the exclusive property of the Abbaye de la Bussière since 1287 AD and is still surrounded by the ancient stone walls built by the Cistercian monks. Known for its elegance, depth, and ability to age gracefully. It showcases the finesse and complexity that have made in Morey-Saint-Denis by the Roumier family.
