Founded by Robert Groffier’s father, Jules in the 1950s, the Robert Groffier Pere et Fils is based in Morey-St-Denis and is now run by Robert’s grandson, Nicolas. They own a large plot in Chambolle-Musigny and in fact they are the largest owner of Les Amoureuses. The Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers is one their flagship parcels, located just a few meters below Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru and is often the most surprising wine in blind tastings.
