Vosne-Romanee is one of the most well-known appellations in Burgundy thanks to some of the most prestigious producers who are situated in the area such as Domaine de la Romanee Conti, Domaine Leroy, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, Georges Noellat and so forth. Often regarded as the most "feminine" wine of the Cote de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny was one of the first French vineyards to be designated as an AOC and the wines produced here are often found to offer intensity and delicacy as well as elegance and subtlety.
