From HK$470 per Bt, Potinet-Ampeau Pommard Les Pezerolles 1er Cru 2014 & 2017
Established from the marriage between Henri Potinet from Monthelie and Robert Ampeau’s sister from Meursault, Domaine Potinet-Ampeau is one of the very few domaines who insist to hold the bottles in their own cellars and release these cellar-aged bottles to the market when they are starting to shine. Domaine Potinet-Ampeau owns 21.5 acres of vineyards scattered around Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Volnay, Pommard and Monthelie. Winemaking remains traditional with an average of 30 years old for most vines, they are aged in about 30% of new oak barrels for 24 months before bottling. Domaine Georges Roumier is one of the top names in Chambolle-Musigny and also produces some of the most valuable wines in the world. The Domaine was established back in 1924 by Georges Roumier, which was then passed down to his son, Jean-Marie, and now the Domaine is managed by his grandson, Christophe. When the Domaine first started, they only sold their wines to local merchants, but it was in 1945 that Georges initiated domaine bottling, and their wines became a global sensation since then. Domaine Hudelot Noellat is widely appreciated as one of the top producers in Burgundy and one of our favourite domaines in Vosne-Romanée. Alain Hudelot-Noellat founded the domaine in 1962 and managed until 2007, then Alain’s grandson Charles van Canneyt took over the ruin and continues to put Hudelot Noellat in a higher stage. They own vineyards spread across Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Clos Vougeot and Nuits-St-Georges, including also the most famous Grand Crus Romanée-St-Vivant and Richebourg. Without question, they are one of those domaines who are capable of producing fantastic wines from Grand Crus to Village wines.
