Champagne from 1970s to 1990s: 86 Selections, All Immediately Available
In general, Champagne has a very high potential in aging with their comparatively high acidity from the cool and extreme climate in northern France. Many wine aficionados love mature Champagne as they offer an elevated enjoyment compared to younger Champagne as aging allows the Champagne to become more complex with tertiary notes and smoother bubbles. As many champagne are consumed pre-maturely due to the high demand worldwide, it is a difficult task in sourcing mature Champagne. We are happy to offer today a stunning selection of mature Champagne from 1970s to 1990s. The list showcases some of the very best champagne including 7 vintages of Louis Roederer Cristal, 6 vintages of Dom Perignon, also some Bollinger...

20% Cheaper than 1995 & 1996: 1997 Bollinger R.D.
Bollinger R.D., abbreviation for "Recemment Degorge", lies in the cellar and is aged longer on the lees, and usually receives lower dosage at around 3-4g/L. It is a rare cuvee which takes up only 1% of the Bollinger entire production. Today. we are excited to offer 1997 Bollinger R.D., a fine and mature vintage to enjoy now that it looks like a great position to buy. Putting 1997 Bollinger R.D. with other remarkable vintage such as 1995 & 1996, the price of Vintage 1997 is 20% lower and also received a fantastic score from Antonio Galloni, who says 1997 has “explosive aromatics” and “terrific balance”. A classic...
Tasted and Recommended, In Stock: Bollinger ‘PN AYC 18’ NV
Pinot Noir is the pillar of the Champagne Bollinger style, and the House has forged its reputation by showcasing this variety, therefore, every champagne from Bollinger is mostly Pinot Noir - at least 60% - yet they do not have a regular Blanc de Noirs, except maybe the Vieilles Vignes Francaises which is a tiny production, vintage cuvee from a single vineyard. A few years ago, the champagne house was determined to create a new cuvee to showcase their Pinot and set up an internal competition among their winemakers to craft the best Blanc de Noirs (100% Pinot Noir) blend with the conditions that...
New Additions from Denis Mortet Between 1993 to 2019
Having worked in his father’s vineyard since 1991, Denis Mortet set up his domaine under his own name and quickly made a name for himself as he was a perfectionist who put a lot of care and effort from vines to wines. The wines he produced were some of the most charming and elegant styles in Gevrey-Chambertin. Sadly, his life ended short in January 2006 and the domaine is currently managed by his son Arnaud who has brought the domaine into a new era. Denis Mortet made his last vintage in 2005 and nowadays mature Denis Mortet is nearly impossible to find, and many aficionados who are lucky enough...
