The oldest vines among Perrot Minot: 100 years old vines at only HK$1,350 per bottle
With history dating back as far as the late 19th Century, Christophe Perrot-Minot took over the domaine from his father Henri in 1993, right after his 7 years of practice as a professional wine broker. The estate has holdings that came from his maternal grandfather Merme which explains the similarity of their holdings with Domaine Taupenot-Merme, and also from an acquisition of Domaine Pernin-Rossin in 2000. Their approach to viticulture is to give full respect to the terroir and nature, in which no chemical fertilizers or herbicides are used. With an amazing holding of old vines aged from 40 to 100 years old, the perfect match of low yields and Christophe’s meticulousness are all core to the great quality of the Perrot-Minot wines. The grapes are all hand-picked and matured in a maximum of 20% new oak and around 50% whole bunches across the range. The resulting wines are ripe, refined and concentrated, even though with an almost modern intensity and polish, their nuances and character still stand out powerfully.

Domaine Perrot Minot retains a small 0.6 Ha plot in the north of Charbolle Musigny and that Chambolle-Musigny Orveaux des Bussieres are planted with over 100 years old vines, which provides the wines with powerful structure and fantastic complexity.
