Two Mature Parcels of Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres 1er Cru
The son-in-law of Etienne Sauzet, Gérard Boudot, started managing the 12-hectare Domaine since 1975 and now manages it together with his daughter Emilie and her husband Benoit Riffault. Gérard Boudot makes their wines with appropriate migration with oak, and their 1er Crus and Grand Crus are usually kept in oak barrels for 18 months. Etienne Sauzet’s wines often achieve great balance given the complexity of the wines and produce refined Chardonnay with weight and volume for aging. Since 2006, they have farmed their vineyards organically and switched to biodynamic cultivation since 2010. Their bourgogne and village wines are elegant and stylish while their 1er...
Domaine Leflaive SALE! Physical Stock, Starting From HK$2,080 per Bottle
One of our constant favourites of Chardonnay producers from Burgundy and for many others around the world too! Domaine Leflaive has been an eminent winemaker which continuously produces astounding Chardonnay from Puligny-Montrachet for many decades. White Burgundy from Domaine Leflaive stands out of being the best in the world of wines. Madame Anne-Claude Leflaive built a strong reputation for the label under her careful and special attention in the vineyard. She made some of the most fruit-forward and terroir-expressive wines that are worthy to be added to every wine collector's cellar after she took over from her father in 1994. Sadly Anne-Claude passed away in 2015. However, Brice de La...

Our Domaine de Montille Selection Including Vosne-Romanee Les Malconsorts Cuvee Christiane 1er Cru!
Domaine de Montille is probably one of the most inspiring stories in Burgundy – starting off with a very small domaine with only 2.5 hectares of vineyard in the 1950s, Hubert de Montille had been managing the domaine but retained his profession as a lawyer at the same time. Hubert’s son, Etienne, started to take on more responsibilities at the Domaine from the 1990s and successfully led Domaine de Montille to become one of the leading producers in Burgundy. He began practicing biodynamic farming 15 years ago and acquired a few domaines to extend their ownership of land to about 35 hectares. In many vintages, Etienne...

They started to plant the vines in a very dense pattern at up to 11,363 vines per hectare on the very steep slopes in the unique vineyard. The quality is unarguably outstanding and Joe Czerwinski from Wine Advocate commented...
