Pierre Vincent is one of Burgundy's most respected white wine minds. Over a decade as technical director of Domaine de la Vougeraie he shaped the house style and championed biodynamic farming, before being handed the keys to Domaine Leflaive, the benchmark for great white Burgundy, which he led from 2017 to 2024. In 2023, he finally began crafting wines under his own name, acquiring a seven-hectare estate in Auxey-Duresses spanning 16 appellations across the Côte de Beaune, including Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru and Premiers Crus in Meursault, Charmes; Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts; and Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chaumées. Farmed biodynamically and vinified with minimal intervention and restrained new oak, these are precise, terroir-driven whites from a winemaker at the peak of his powers, and among the most exciting new signatures in Burgundy today.
