With a history dating back to the 19th century, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy is a family-run estate that has a holding of 9 hectares of vineyards, all planted to Pinot Noir and situated exclusively in Gevrey-Chambertin. They have remarkable, old-vine holdings in Lavaux-St-Jacques, Champeaux, Perrière and La Bossiere (Monopole), as well as a Mazis Chambertin. Joseph Roty has been making wines since 1710 and the production has remained minuscule for over 300 years. The Roty family maintains their very old vines in which some were planted in the 1880s and still use very traditional ways of winemaking to this day. Despite having a very low profile, their wines never fail to amaze everyone and can always show the characteristics of a traditional Gevrey-Chambertin.
