A World Famous Sauvignon Blanc: 2010 & 2012 Didier Dagueneau Pouilly-Fume Silex
Didier Dagueneau started his journey in wine from 1982 by acquiring his parcel of vineyard in Loire. The vineyards are located in Saint Landelin in the Nievre and Didier developed himself as a legendary winegrower in Loire valley. His mentor was Henri Jayer, in the vineyards the yields are kept extremely low, little amount of sulfur is applied and the wines are aged on lees for several months and are not racked to retain crystal-clear color. Also, he decided to age his Sauvignon Blanc in barrels which was uncommon at early age to add power and structure to the wine...
Two Mature Parcels of Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres 1er Cru
The son-in-law of Etienne Sauzet, Gérard Boudot, started managing the 12-hectare Domaine since 1975 and now manages it together with his daughter Emilie and her husband Benoit Riffault. Gérard Boudot makes their wines with appropriate migration with oak, and their 1er Crus and Grand Crus are usually kept in oak barrels for 18 months. Etienne Sauzet’s wines often achieve great balance given the complexity of the wines and produce refined Chardonnay with weight and volume for aging. Since 2006, they have farmed their vineyards organically and switched to biodynamic cultivation since 2010. Their bourgogne and village wines are elegant and stylish while their 1er...
Domaine Leflaive SALE! Physical Stock, Starting From HK$2,080 per Bottle
One of our constant favourites of Chardonnay producers from Burgundy and for many others around the world too! Domaine Leflaive has been an eminent winemaker which continuously produces astounding Chardonnay from Puligny-Montrachet for many decades. White Burgundy from Domaine Leflaive stands out of being the best in the world of wines. Madame Anne-Claude Leflaive built a strong reputation for the label under her careful and special attention in the vineyard. She made some of the most fruit-forward and terroir-expressive wines that are worthy to be added to every wine collector's cellar after she took over from her father in 1994. Sadly Anne-Claude passed away in 2015. However, Brice de La...
