Nuits-Saint-Georges is situated in the Côte de Nuits region of Côte-d’Or, right between Beaune and Dijon, and is the second largest commune after Gevrey-Chambertin with more than 306ha of wine-producing land. It predominantly produces red wine but has minuscule productions of white as well.
