Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaumonts is a distinguished vineyard located in the Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy. The terroir of Les Beaumonts is characterized by its unique combination of limestone and red clay soils, which contribute to the complexity and elegance of the wines. It’s not far away from the famous Grand Cru sites such as Echezeaux and Grands Echezeaux, as well as the historic site of Cros Parantoux 1er Cru. The vineyard is situated on a gentle slope, providing excellent drainage and optimal sun exposure, which are crucial for the ripening of the grapes. Remains in very low profile,...

Don't Miss! 2012 & 2014 Hudelot Noellat Vosne-Romanee Les Suchots 1er Cru

Domaine Hudelot Noellat is widely appreciated as one of the top producers in Burgundy and one of our favourite domaines in Vosne-Romanée. Alain Hudelot-Noellat founded the domaine in 1962 and managed until 2007, then Alain’s grandson Charles van Canneyt took over the ruin and continues to put Hudelot Noellat in a higher stage. They own vineyards spread across Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Clos Vougeot and Nuits-St-Georges, including also the most famous Grand Crus Romanée-St-Vivant and Richebourg. Without question, they are one of those domaines who are capable of producing fantastic wines from Grand Crus to Village wines. They aim to work "as close to nature as possible"; therefore, they do their...

The oldest vines among Perrot Minot: 100 years old vines at only HK$1,350 per bottle

With history dating back as far as the late 19th Century, Christophe Perrot-Minot took over the domaine from his father Henri in 1993, right after his 7 years of practice as a professional wine broker. The estate has holdings that came from his maternal grandfather Merme which explains the similarity of their holdings with Domaine Taupenot-Merme, and also from an acquisition of Domaine Pernin-Rossin in 2000. Their approach to viticulture is to give full respect to the terroir and nature, in which no chemical fertilizers or herbicides are used. With an amazing holding of old vines aged from 40 to 100 years old, the...

Neighbouring La Tache: 2009 & 2010 Domaine d'Eugenie Vosne-Romanee Clos d'Eugenie

Domaine d'Eugenie was established in 2006 by Francois Pinault, who owns Chateau Latour in Bordeaux, and named the domaine after his grandmother. He aimed to create a top Burgundy domaine and hence decided to acquire vineyards from René Engel - one of the leading lights of Vosne-Romanée until the death of Philippe Engel in 2005 - and the Frantin Estate from Bichot in Nuits-St-Georges to produce the wines. The village vineyard Clos Frantin was included in the deal with Bichot and renamed to Clos d'Eugenie when they released the 2009 vintage. Under the management of President of Chateau Latour Frédéric...
