Alvina Pernot, the granddaughter of the renowned Paul Pernot, has been making waves in the Burgundy wine scene since establishing her own domaine in 2018. Born and raised in Puligny-Montrachet, Alvina grew up immersed in the world of winemaking, with her family's estate, Domaine Paul Pernot, being one of the largest vineyard owners in the region, second only to Leflaive.
 
After gaining valuable experience working at her grandfather's domaine for three years, Alvina, along with her husband Philippe Abadie, decided to forge their own path in the world of Burgundian wines. Their venture, Domaine Alvina Pernot, has quickly become one of the most exciting producers in Puligny-Montrachet, crafting wines that are garnering increasing acclaim with each passing vintage.
 
The couple's deep roots in the region and extensive network have allowed them to source fruit from some of Burgundy's most prestigious vineyards,  showcases the duo's commitment to expanding their range with high-quality, terroir-driven wines.

Ple lemon and lime. 40% in terracotta amphora, new this year. Currently noticeably reductive. There is more weight to this, a white fruit flesh on the palate, with significant length. Once the reduction and oak are harmonised, this will be excellent. Drink from 2027-2032. Tasted Oct 2024.
