Next to Musigny Grand Cru: Perrot-Minot La Combe d'Orveau 1er Cru

"La Combe d'Orveau" is one of the hidden gems in Chambolle-Musigny that is often overlooked because people misunderstand that it is a village but this terroir is actually split into two major parcels - one which is located at the lower slope and is classified as 1er Cru and Grand Cru; while the other on the west side is classified as "village". Now Arrived! Mature Vougeraie Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyeres Grand Cru

Though the two Grand Crus Charmes-Chambertin and Mazoyeres-Chambertin are neighbours, many producers only name their wines to be Charmes-Chambertin even though part of their grapes are from Mazoyeres. Dugat Py believes Mazoyeres is even a better terroir than Charmes-Chambertin. Likewise, Domaine de la Vougeraie is another example that believes in the Mazoyeres terroir - labelling the wines as “Charmes-Chambertin les Mazoyeres” ("les Mazoyeres" because they only own a tiny 0.74 hectares in Mazoyeres but still find it worthy...
