Having worked in his father’s vineyard since 1991, Denis Mortet set up his domaine under his own name and quickly made a name for himself as he was a perfectionist who put a lot of care and effort from vines to wines. With a history dating back to the 19th century, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy is a family-run estate that has a holding of 9 hectares of vineyards, all planted to Pinot Noir and situated exclusively in Gevrey-Chambertin. They have remarkable, old-vine holdings in Lavaux-St-Jacques, Champeaux, Perrière and La Bossiere (Monopole), as well as a Mazis Chambertin.
