Valentini remains one of the oldest and greatest names in Italian viniculture for traditional winemaking, with origins dating back to 1650. Wine critic Antonio Galloni commented that they are "one of Italy's most iconic producers". They were first recognized for the quality of their wines in 1868 made by Camillo Valentini.
