Giuseppe Quintarelli is without question an iconic estate in the world of fine wines. He was a legend in the world of Italian viticulture before his passing in 2012. Known to be a great perfectionist, Giuseppe Quintarelli produced only exceptional wines, made and sold in limited quantities after many years of ageing. According to Antonio Galloni, he finds their wines to be “hypnotic, life-changing wines” and “inhabits a universe all on its own”. It is a winery where care, effort and patience are the driving philosophies and the wines are only released once deemed to be ready. They are beautiful handmade wines that are both immediately rewarding and capable of extended cellaring. They offer a range of wines such as the delicious and seductive Bianco Secco, the benchmark Valpolicella, the Rosso del Bepi and Amarones produced according to the quality of the harvest, to the otherworldly Recioto and the exceedingly rare Bandito, the sheer artistry and depth is truly exceptional. 

We ourselves started paying more attention to this exceptional estate a few years ago, and have been stocking up his wines in our private cellar. Whenever there is a special occasion, we would pull out a bottle or two to enjoy, and we can tell you that every bottle we have tasted thus far demonstrates just how good this estate is. After his passing in 2012, the domaine is now run by Giuseppe's daughter Fiorenza with her husband and two sons, Francesco and Lorenzo, who are all equally obsessed with quality of wines and continuing on the amazing work by Giuseppe.
