RICHEBOURG GRAND CRU: Latest Additions of 1998-2010, Incl. Leroy, A.F. Gros, Anne Gros, Etc
One of the six Grand Cru sites in Vosne-Romanee, Richebourg is situated in the northermost part of the Vosne-Romanee, and adjacent to the La Romanee and Romanee-Conti sites with Romanee-St-Vivant on the slopes below and the famous Cros Parantoux Premier Cru vineyard is above. It is the second-largest Grand Cru in Vosne-Romanee after Romanee-St-Vivant. It is owned by just a few producers including Domaine de la Romanee-Conti which owns just less than half of the land, and Domaine Leroy, Anne Gros and Gros Frere et Soeur, in which Richebourg made by the legendary Henri Jayer remains as some of the most expensive and sought-after wines in the world. The wines from this Richebourg are well-known for their full-bodied, muscular style of Pinot Noir, often coming with earthy characters and concentrated fruit and excellent for long-term ageing up to 20-30 years.
Today we are pleased to share with you our very latest acquisitions of Richebourg Grand Crus from some of the very best producers in the region including Domaine Leroy, A.F. Gros Anne Gros and Thibault Liger-Belair, these are all great gems to be collected if you are a true Burgundy lover! -
