ST "Lovely Silky Richness" 2004 Robert Arnoux Vosne-Romanée Aux Reignots 1er Cru
Founded in 1858, Domaine Robert Arnoux is a family-run estate and had built a reputation for themselves when Pascal Lachaux became fully in charge of the winemaking in 1990 and subsequently took over the domaine when his father-in-law Robert Arnoux passed away in 1995. The domaine was renamed to "Arnoux-Lachaux" in 2008, and in 2012, the domaine was passed down to the family's sixth generation, Charles Lachaux. The domaine currently owns 14.5 hectares of some of the most prized vineyards in Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint-Georges, and apart from a small plot of Aligote, all wines are red.
Today we are pleased to present the Vosne-Romanée Aux Reignots 1er Cru from the 2004 vintage. Arnoux Lachaux's plot of Aux Reignots 1er Cru is excellently situated at the bottom of Aux Reignots just above La Romanée, the second closest in proximity to La Romanée after Comte Liger-Belair's and the only plot that is adjacent to Richebourg. Production is extremely limited so do not miss any opportunity to secure a bottle or two -
