Having grown up in Alsace with a passion for wine and photography, Vincent Dancer was originally studying to become an engineer, but after spending some time in Burgundy, he decided to settle in Chassagne-Montrachet and make wine from his family-owned vineyards. Only 5 hectares which is relatively small even by Burgundy standards, the vineyards are very well-situated. Vincent took over the domaine in 1996 and bottled his very first vintage in 2003 and was the first producer in Chassagne to become certified organic.
