New in List: 2017 Vincent Dancer Chassagne Montrachet
Having grown up in Alsace with a passion for wine and photography, Vincent Dancer was originally studying to become an engineer, but after spending some time in Burgundy, he decided to settle in Chassagne-Montrachet and make wine from his family-owned vineyards. Vincent took over the domaine in 1996 and bottled his very first vintage in 2003 and was the first producer in Chassagne to become certified organic. Despite being rather low-key, Vincent's wines have become well known to restaurateurs and wine-lovers in the region over the years, known to truly reflect...

Pierre was a high-regarded sommelier, who is a very good friend with two of the Burgundy legends Jean-Francois Coche Dury and the ex-DRC winemaker Bernard Noblet. They visit the domaine twice a year to taste the wines and offer suggestions. Coche Dury even said that all of the wines from Domaine Berlancourt can be qualified as 1er...
