Being one of the most famous names in Champagne, Krug never disappoints drinkers taste buds with its amazing quality across its whole range of wines. The Grande Cuvee marks an ultimate expression of the house styles with very strong aging potential, making the rare, old disgorged bottles to be one of the all-time greats. In 2011, Krug started a revolution by sharing each of these stories using digital technology in the Krug iD. This six-digit number printed on the back label of every bottle can be entered into a smartphone to unlock rich content about each bottle. To unlock the aging potential of Krug, there are several earlier releases without Krug ID in different labels that represent different complexity and structure –
