Rare Parcel of Ruinart Millesime 1990,1992,1993 & 2002
Ruinart was established in 1729 and was the very first established house of Champagne. They only make a handful of cuvees which are the Blanc de Blancs and Rose which are both available in NV and Millesime, in which the Millesime are only created in the best harvests. The essence of all their cuvees, their Champagnes are made entirely with Chardonnay Grand Cru that are carefully harvested on different terroirs from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims vineyards to offer complementary characteristics. It is at the heart of the cellars of Maison Ruinart that these prestige bottles are slowly aged, for an average of ten years, and gain in aromatic complexity. Their Champagnes are known to be elegant, fresh and sophisticated with a refined structure.
Due to the comparatively low production, , mature bottles of Ruinart are hard to source and most of the millesime (Vintages) releases have a high potential of aging, it gains complexity when it’s aged properly and it isn’t easy to find a replacement.
Sourced from a stunning underground cellar in Europe. Solid provenance and aged with original cases, it’s an unmistakable option if you love old Champagnes -
