New In! 2020 & 2021 Base, Gaspard Brochet 333 Brut Nature

The nephew of Emmanuel Brochet, Gaspard Brochet launched his first wine in 2020 and quickly gained recognition among Champagne enthusiasts. His wines, produced from vineyards in Ecueil and Villers-Aux-Nœuds, are known for their complexity, texture, and character, thanks to his practice of harvesting fully ripe grapes.

Initially a graphic designer, Gaspard returned to his family's wine business in 2013, started his own label in 2017, and took over the 3.18-hectare estate in 2019. By 2022, all wines bore his name, and from 2024, they will also feature the historic Domaine les Croix label. His vineyards are managed without fertilizers or herbicides, and his winemaking methods are minimalistic, reflecting traditional Champagne practices.

We are delighted to offer a tiny parcel of Gaspard Brochet '333' Brut Nature NV, a blend of three grapes (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier), it’s a zero dosage Champagne to express the terroirs from Petite Montagne. Only about 3,000 bottles are produced so that they are not popularly seen in the market.

We are delighted to offer:

90pts Wine Advocate
Disgorged in February 2024, Gaspard Brochet’s NV Brut Nature 333.d (2020 base) is an intricate blend of three grape varieties, three vintages and three villages—hence its name. Anchored in the 2020 vintage and complemented by 40% reserve wines from 2019 and 2018, the cuvée draws heavily from Écueil, a village renowned for its Pinot Noir. As such, it comprises approximately 70% red grapes, with the remainder being Chardonnay. While, beginning with the 2022 vintage, this cuvée undergoes vinification in foudre, this rendition was still fermented and vinified entirely in stainless steel. It opens with expressive aromas of orange zest, red apple, red berries and dried flowers. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, ample and vibrant, with racy acidity and a mouthwatering, saline finish.

Gaspard Brochet 333.e Brut Nature NV (2021 Base)
HK$1,080 per bottle, 6 bottles immediately available

90pts Wine Advocate
Although incorporating only 10% of the cool-weather 2021 vintage, Gaspard Brochet’s NV Brut Nature 333.e (2021 base) is incisive, racy and fresh. It delivers a bright aromatic profile of crisp pear, lemon zest and white blossoms. The palate is medium-bodied, chiseled and bright, boasting a pure fruit core supported by tangy acidity and chalky structure, culminating in saline finish. Reflecting the adversity of the growing season, this rendition comprises 90% reserve wines and was disgorged in December 2024. As ever, the cuvée is anchored in Pinot Noir from the village of Écueil and marks the final edition to be vinified entirely in stainless steel.
