Followed up with an offer two weeks ago, we are excited to receive 2003 & 2005 B de Boerl & Kroff early next week and have a few bottles available for a second look?
Champagne Boërl & Kroff was created by two friends Patrick Sabaté and Stéphane Sésé and debuted with the release of their 1995 vintage. The champagne house was previously run by the De Gaulle family who produced Champagne Drappier, the house that used to provide for King Louis XVI and a favorite of General Charles de Gaulle, and in December 2019, Stéphane Sésé solely took the reins.
All Boërl & Kroff cuvees are produced following traditional vinification methods using only quality ingredients and only in a good vintage. The wines are made with the assistance of Michel Drappier. The Boërl & Kroff vintage wines are aged for a minimum of 12 years on the lees. Production is miniscule with only approximately 2,500 to 3,000 magnums produced in only those exceptional years when the quality is deemed high enough for Boërl & Kroff to produce a vintage Champagne, and occasionally much less. The same care has been taken to produce their secondary line, the "B", which are made in the vintages that do not fit into the strict criteria and high standards of the vintage Boërl & Kroff but is still envisioned to have its own elegant personality, but at the same time the length and depth that is of the signature of Boërl & Kroff vintages. Produced entirely of Pinot Noir, “B” is rich and structured yet perfectly balanced.
Only 5 vintages of "B" de Boerl & Kroff are produced from the 21st century and this is one of the most difficult to source Champagne nowadays, today we are pleased to offer Vintage 2003 "B" de Boerl & Kroff Brut which are extremely difficult to find nowadays so do let us know if you would like to take a few -
