Museum-quality Assortment Case: 2008 Krug Les Expressions du Clos d'Ambonnay

We are delighted to present the latest release from Krug. This assortment case represents one of the rarest offerings in Champagne history: a two-bottle set of Krug Clos d'Ambonnay 2008 Blanc de Noirs and Krug Clos d’Ambonnay Rosé 2008, both sourced from the legendary 0.68-hectare walled Clos d'Ambonnay vineyard in Ambonnay, a grand cru village renowned for Pinot Noir. The 2008 Blanc de Noirs was crafted from grapes harvested in a single day, September 24th, and only 4,725 individually numbered bottles were produced. Making its debut with this release, the 2008 Clos d'Ambonnay Rosé is even more exclusive: only 326 bottles exist, each numbered, with the blend comprising 85% vinified white and 15% traditionally macerated red Pinot Noir.
 
Both wines underwent long lees ageing and meticulous selection, embodying the cool, slow-ripening conditions of the 2008 vintage - a year prized for structure and finesse. Officially released as an "Les Expressions du Clos d'Ambonna" set, this case combines Krug's tradition of single-vineyard winemaking with unprecedented rarity. With such limited allocations worldwide and historical significance as the first Clos d'Ambonnay Rosé ever produced, this case is an offering of profound factual prestige and investment value.
