Currently one of the most-talked producers from Burgundy, Henri Boillot is well-known for creating impressive, world-class wines that are a testimony to the meticulous work they carry out throughout the wine-making process. Their whites offer excellent purity attributed to the absence of chemicals, fruitness from the ripe grapes they pick and freshness from aging in larger barrels. Despite the worldwide demand for this domaine, their prices remain highly reasonable, especially when we compare them against their counterparts in the very top-tier of white Burgundy such as Ramonet and Leflaive.

Today we are happy to offer two whites from Henri Boillot, both which have just landed in our warehouse - the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2002 and Clos de la Mouchere 1er Cru 2011 magnum 1.5L. Both scored highly with wine critics in which the Corton-Charlemagne 2002 was awarded a whopping 95+pts by Stephen Tanzer who commented this to be "wonderfully dense and broad", while the Clos de la Mouchere 1er Cru 2011 was awarded with 94pts by Antonio Galloni that says this is "likely to enjoy a long and broad drinking window". The magnum Clos de la Mouchere 1er Cru 2011 is particularly rare for the format, so do seriously consider this wonderful opportunity to secure a bottle or two (we only have 3 bottles available!).
