Marc de Bourgogne is a special spirit produced in Burgundy with raw materials that remain after wine production. Many winemakers in Burgundy collect the seeds, grape skins and stems after vinification to use for distilling, which are then matured in oak barrels that were usually used for maturing wine before, to produce an elegant, smooth spirit that is similar to cognac but with the soul of Burgundy.
We are delighted to offer a top-class Marc de Bourgogne from the renowned Domaine Dujac which is distilled from the grape skins and pips, “Hors d'Age” (beyond age) means the Marc de Bourgogne has been aged for an extended period for at least 10 years, resulting in exceptional smoothness and depth of flavor. Production is extremely limited which is not widely seen, we are delighted to offer:
