Their Vintage Champagne has always come in highly limited quantities in comparison to most other Prestige Cuvee Champagnes as they have been extremely discerning in when vintage champagne should be produced. Because of that, when one is released, there is a solid guarantee of its quality.
The recent release is Krug Vintage 2011, 2011 is described as a warm and dry season which picking season started early from 25th August. Krug Vintage2011 is a blend of 46% Pinot Noir to 37% Chardonnay and 17% Meunier; sourced from the best grapes from the vintage and spent 12 years maturing in the wine cellar before release.
