Known and recognized for his wines from his negotiant arm, Dominique Laurent started a new adventure with his son, Jean, in 2006 to grow and produce wines from his own vines under the name "Domaine Laurent Père & Fils". Jean takes care of the vineyard, vinifies and ages the wines together with his father. They vinify from unstemmed grapes and age their wines without sulfur and in new wood. With Dominique's experience and meticulousness in both the vineyard and winery, it is undoubted that his Domaine production is just as high in quality as his negotiant wines, or even more, having much higher control over the quality of the crops. 

Amongst the vineyards that Dominique had purchased, there is a wine which has been getting lots of attention and have very high potential but does not break the bank - Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d'Orveaux 1er Cru located just metres away from the world-famous Musigny Grand Cru plots!
