Rare Old Disgorged Parcel: 2007 Base, Henri Giraud Fut de Chene MV

Henri Giraud is a prestigious name known for producing rich, extensive and powerful wine. Their wines are 100% oak-fermented and the house insists on producing with oak casks from the forest in Aÿ to impose the forest terroir into the wine, giving it one of the most unique flavors among all Champagnes. One of their most notable creations is their premium “multi-vintage” cuvee called "Fût de Chêne" which is a blend of around 70-75% Pinot Noir and 25-30% Chardonnay, with the grapes coming only from the best Grand Cru sites, and aged in oak casks for a minimum of 12 months before peacefully lying down for another 72 months until they achieve the best integration of fruits and oak.
We are able to access 12 bottles of old disgorged Henri Giraud Fût de Chêne MV, purchased from a collector in the UK and stored in professional cellar since release dated back in 2015, these are 2007 base and 2014 disgorged which received further 7 years of aging, it is a rare opportunity to explore the development of this excellent cuvee -
