Probably not one of the appellations that immediately comes to mind when thinking about Burgundy wines, but Morey-St-Denis boasts a total of 5 Grand Crus and 20 Premier Crus, including Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint Denis, Clos des Lambrays, Clos de Tart, and Bonnes-Mares. The wines from this appellation are often made with consistent qualities from Grand Cru down to village levels, with style being generally masculine, rich and succulent with an aromatic profile of Chambolle-Musigny.
