The name may be unfamiliar to many, but Domaine Bartet actually belonged to Bruno Clair's mother, Genevieve Bartet. Bruno Clair is one of the star vignerons in Burgundy, and had been managing the cultivation and vinification of wines at Domaine Bartet since 1986 and sold under the label "Domaine G. Bartet" up until 1998; and since 1999, the wine produced has been marketed under his own label, Domaine Bruno Clair.
Today we are pleased to offer the Domaine Bartet Gevrey-Chambertin Clos-St-Jacques 1er Cru 1996 at a special offer of HK$2,650 per bottle. Considered the best premier cru in Gevrey, this is an extremely rare opportunity and there is no listing on Wine-searcher for this vintage.
