"La Remissonne" is Philipponnat's Mareuil-sur-Ay cuvée with its first release being the 2009 vintage. It is a 100% Pinot Noir from a single premier cru plot just adjacent to Clos des Goisses. The cuvee is crafted using the first press juice and vinified using traditional methods to avoid premature oxidation. There is 4.5g/L dosage to maintain the balance between fershness and vinosity without masking the wine's character and purity. It is aged for 7-9 years in the cellars to develop its maximum complexity and to highlight the wine's secondary and tertiary aromas. Only 2,590 bottles were produced (equivalent to only 432 cases) hence is very rare in the market. Compared to their Clos des Goisses which values around HK$1,593 per bottle in the market nowadays^, their La Remissonnee offers relatively higher value for money at just HK$1,080 per bottle -
