Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, founded in 1863 by Frédéric Mugnier, is a prestigious Burgundy wine estate based in Chambolle-Musigny. Known for its elegant Pinot Noir wines, the domaine owns exceptional vineyards, including Musigny, Bonnes-Mares, and the monopole Clos de la Maréchale in Nuits-Saint-Georges. After decades of vineyard leases, Frédéric Mugnier, the fifth generation, took full control in 1985 and has since elevated the estate to global acclaim for its refined and terroir-driven wines.

They also produce a unique wine from their famous Nuits-Saint-Georges Clos de la MarĂ©chale 1er Cru vineyard, a 100% Chardonnay white wine from Nuits-Saint-Georges which is comparatively uncommon in the commune and is a textbook sample if you are looking for a unique Burgundy white to surprise yourself and your companions -Â
