The nose is completely dominated by reduction and impossible to read though the funk. Otherwise though, the rich, full and focused medium-full flavors are complex and possess excellent volume on the textured, intense and beautifully long finish. As it often does, this easily delivers 1er quality.

The 2008 Meursault Les Tessons – Clos de Mon Plaisir from Roulot is slightly closed. The bouquet is showing some yellow fruit – melon and notes of pear – with hints of lemon zest and grapefruit. On the palate quite lush fruit and a good focus from the underlying acidity and minerality. This medium to full bodied wine offer excellent concentration, quite good balance and a long focused finish. Need a few years to open up, and will keep at least 10 years in a good cellar.
