Domaine Philippe Chavy is a family-run wine estate located in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet, Burgundy, one of the world’s most prestigious regions for Chardonnay. The Chavy family has been rooted in Puligny-Montrachet for over two centuries, with vineyards passed down through generations. Philippe Chavy took over the domaine in the 1990s, inheriting vineyards planted by his father in the 1950s and even older parcels from his mother’s Ropiteau family, some dating back to the 1930s.
 
The domaine cultivates around 8 hectares, divided into about 30 plots, producing 14 different appellations. In the cellar, Chavy combines traditional and modern techniques-using gentle pneumatic pressing, temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for fermentation, and aging wines in oak barrels of various ages to preserve complexity and purity.
